As we know, death is inevitable and planning a funeral to honour someone you love, can often come
with challenges and differing of opinions.
When you’re gone, this book will allow you to communicate your wishes and guide your loved ones
through some of their hardest times, making those impossible decisions a little clearer and a little
easier.
It could be filled out weeks, years or decades before it’s actually needed, but that’s the thing about
death, it can come without warning, leaving too much unsaid and undone.
We often make the obvious decisions about our property, money and children in the event of our
death, however there are so many other things that require decisions we often don’t think about.

My name is Anna and I’m the creator of My Will Wishes.
After losing my father in 2015 I experienced a level grief I’d never known before. There were certain things throughout the funeral process, that I knew went against what he would have wanted. I’ve heard an endless number of similar stories with some heartbreaking outcomes, and I’m sure you have too. This got me thinking, there had to be a way to remove some of the challenges associated when someone’s life ends. I’m a firm believer that when it’s your time to go, your wishes should be acknowledged, respected, and honored. And that’s where My Will Wishes comes in, it was created to be your voice.

I’ve been a business owner here in the beautiful Bay of Plenty since 2013. I am the proud owner of The Beauty HQ, a collaborative space of independently owned businesses, and Addict Beauty, where I work as a nail technician. I am also studying a Diploma in Legal Executive Studies online.
The people who know me best will tell you that I have a way of prompting (some would say challenging) conversations to get you thinking outside the box, and My Will Wishes does just that.
I’m also a wife, mother to a teenage son and Nacho Girl (my beautiful Pomeranian), God Mama to many, and professional bridesmaid. I am a fierce lover and supporter of my friends and family, I love a good wine and have trouble sitting still – I’ve been known to paint rooms, redecorate the salon and complete criminal psychology papers when forced to stay home! In the summer months, you’ll find me and my camper ‘Annette the Vanette’ exploring new campgrounds with Nacho Girl and my besties.
